The principle of NIR NDT is simple yet powerful: light in the 0.9-2.5 μm range penetrates the sample and interacts with its molecular bonds. The reflected or transmitted light is captured by the SR100N25's cooled sensor, creating a unique fingerprint that can be decoded to quantify components like moisture, sugar, protein, oil, and more.
